Glasses are done in an oven fire enamel featuring the arms of the populace badges for kingdoms within the SCA. Each glass is hand painted by Kim Brunner and goes through testing to ensure the design will not wash off with use. Since the enamel is applied by hand there are slight variations between each mug.
Glassware comes fully finished and cured. It is dishwasher top rack only or handwash safe. We heavily recommend only using a gentle handwash, primarily on the wine glasses. Resistant to most scratches. Heavy duty for ease of travel. Microwave safe. Good with both hot and cold liquids.
Not all glassware is equal in price due to size of glass and amount of work put into it. The base $30 is for the wine glasses, each larger glass goes up in price to the mugs at $40.
